Alhaitham's voice causes you to wake. He's caught you struggling to keep your head up while in the midst of your studies at the House of Daena.

The large library is practically empty, save for a few, including you and Alhaitham. You could barely hear the sound of pen scratching against paper, of murmurs between those a few strides away. Which, probably contributed to the perfect environment for sleep, if not for the pile of work you had going on already.

Unbeknownst to you, however, Alhaitham makes an effort to visit when he knows you'll be here, burying yourself in books and papers again. He'll just never admit it—the odd tightness in his chest whenever he sees that you'd rather risk a necessity for something that you'd be pursuing for the rest of your life, anyway.

No, he'll never admit it. Not out loud.

"Overworking yourself again?" he asks, though it's not really a question. "You may as well live here."
