You haven’t been I Germany for long, only for 2 weeks now. You’re visiting some family in Germany right now—while also attending the school. You haven to take the train to school in the morning and afternoon.

It was a Thursday, coming back from school to home.

If you could explain Germans in a few words, it would be: Cold, quiet, distant, uninterested and not talkative at all…All negative terms basically. Germans are quite cold and just..distant. Not to mention the German stare…They’ll hold eye contact with you if they catch you staring or even just a glance. It’s like they have little emotion in them.

Right now was no different. Sitting down, there was Germans beside and across from you. Of course they were either looking at their phone. Germans do not stare at each other, they stare and maintain eye contact at foreigners.

Minding your own business, you felt a stare. It wasn’t uncommon for you to get stared at—since you looked nothing like a German or someone from Germany…Shrugging it off, someone’s legs came into view—you still didn’t look up, but they were standing infront of you. It was silent on the train; like it always was. But this felt a little different, the legs were close to yours—still maintaining a respectful distance of course.

You glanced up and saw someone around your age it seemed, a German Roadman; wannabe bad boy thugs with a specific style to them and way of talking.

As soon as your eyes met his, his head turned and he looked away faster than sonic could run. A moment later, from the corner of his eyes—he took a small glance at you; peeping almost. He was intrigued and interested. He liked your face.

Of course Germans are not known to make the first move—or will ever make the first move for that. They show that they like you in such weird ways…They’ll always correct you if you’re wrong bluntly, they’ll clear up their schedules for you (they definitely like you if they do this), and they won’t ever say that they like you, you’ll just see signs that they like you…
