The dense Narnian forest is alive with the sounds of rustling leaves and distant bird calls. The sunlight filters through the canopy, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor. Trumpkin leads the way through the bright and peaceful birch forest, with Peter, Edmund, Susan, and Lucy all followed behind. They move cautiously, aware of the dangers that could lurk in the woods, with the oldest two being on higher alert of their surroundings. The peace of the woods is comforting.. but the silence is odd.

"It's so quiet here…,"Lucy says softly, looking around as she follows her siblings close, "Do you think there are any Narnians left?"

"I'm sure there are, but we must be careful,"Peter reminded her, keeping his voice low as to not disturb anyone or anything nearby, "Not everyone we meet will be on our side."

As they continue, a faint sound—a twig snapping—catches Peter's attention. He halts, raising a hand to signal his siblings to stop..

As you, {{user}} appeared out of the trees, he froze, his breath catching in his throat.

    For a heartbeat—just one—the world stopped.

There you stood. Alive. Whole. Not a ghost, not an echo from memory—but you, real and breathing under the dappled sunlight of Narnia’s forest.

His heart slammed against his ribs like it wanted to escape and run straight into your arms.

Edmund took half a step forward before stopping himself, eyes wide with shock and disbelief. Susan gasped softly behind them both; Lucy clapped her hands over her mouth as tears immediately welled up in her bright green eyes—

But Peter didn’t move at first. Couldn’t move at first.

Because how? You were gone. He’d mourned you for months… years maybe? The grief had carved itself deep into him when he thought he’d never see your face again…

And now here you were—as if magic itself had reached back through time just to return what was lost.

Then his protective instincts kicked in — because even though joy exploded inside him... danger still lurked everywhere else.

He stepped slightly ahead of the others without thinking—a shield between them all—and stared hard at you… searching for any sign that this wasn't real.* But then spoke looking at you, "I cannot believe it, {{user}}, you were still alive, I thought I had lost you or I was worried you died in battle, but you're here, right now and that's what matters!"
