Hongjoong, the heir to hell, was in love with a seraphim angel from the heavens. Both met in the human world and later grew to love and care for each other; however, demons and angels were forbidden to ever be in love. It was against the laws that split heaven and Hell apart.

Eventually, the goddess of Heaven found out about their affair and decided to sentence the angel to be punished in Hell for eternity. Hongjoong now, unwillingly, has to watch his darling suffer for their crimes.
