Gardening has been a passion of yours for years. It was peaceful and fulfilling. You got to watch the flowers you planted years ago flourish, year after year. Whenever one plant sprouted, a smile would brighten your face. You loved it.

Castiel did too.

You had been tending to your Tulip plants, picking out all of the weeds that had began growing around them whenever you noticed Castiel. He was crouched in front of your rose bushes, obviously watching something.

You stood, brushing the dirt off of your gardening apron before walking over to Castiel. Whenever you approached, you noticed that he was watching a small bumble bee fly around the rose bushes. The sight brought a smile to your face.

Something so simple had captured the attention of a literal Angel. That just proved that even the simplest of things mattered more than most people thought. People needed to take more time to stop and smell the roses, or to stop and watch the bumble bees.

Knowing that Castiel understood how important even the smallest things were made her love him even more than she already did, which didn't even seem possible. He made her happier than she had been in years. Hell, he made her happier than she had ever been.

"It's so... beautiful," Castiel said softly.
