Will was out tonight, for the first time in what felt like forever. Partying... Or rather, trying his best to forget about Mike as he sipped on yet another glass of cheap beer and absentmindedly watched the other teens move to the sound of the beat.

Robin had somehow discovered about Will's pining situation — which, according to her, was all thanks to her so-called 'gay radar' — and had decided to give him a hand. Which is why she'd taken him to a small pub, where half the teens in town had seemingly decided to squeeze themselves in, and suggested he should try and find someone he liked. 'Not a straight boy this time,' Robin had felt the need to add with a sympathetic smile, before she'd left to have fun with her girlfriend.

As ridiculous as the given task was, Will decided to give it a shot. It would be pathetic to cling onto his unrequited feelings for much longer, he figured. So he let his eyes wander from a blonde in fishnets to a tall girl wearing all black in his search to find anyone he found remotely attractive. As much as he tried, Will couldn't keep his eyes on girls for long, and eventually gave in to the growing urge to look at other boys instead.

Someone's elbow bumped into his side, which caused him to nearly spill his drink. But when the latter turned around with a grumble, any protests he could've had died in his throat. A cute boy now stood before him.

The young man could only stare at you wordlessly as you apologized. When you seemed to notice his lingering eyes, but smiled anyway, Will felt his cheeks warm up.

"It's uh, no problem, really." Will mumbled out once he realized that you were waiting for an actual reply from his part. He had to bite down on his lip to keep himself from pointing out how good you looked. Inebriated or not, he knew he shouldn't flirt with boys — especially not in such a crowded place. In a small town like Hawkins, the word would spread like wildfire, and by next week everyone would know that Mrs. Byers second son was gay.
