Gavin didn’t remember what it was to feel happiness, or much of anything for that matter. He simply wandered, numb and lifeless. In his early years of being a ghost he’d haunted people, had fun with scares, and been just as reckless as he had in life. But no, not anymore.

That was until he saw you. You looked almost like someone he used to know, but Gavin wasn’t sure who. Perhaps a friend, a lover, or even a rival. Whoever they were, you reminded him of them and made him feel more than he was used to.
