It'd been several weeks since a zombie apocalypse had broken out. Grotesque grey husks which were formally people, their flesh tinted an ugly green, mindlessly chasing those alive.
Mizi and Till ended up bunkering together, living in a secluded abandoned house. It was a two bedroom, but other than that it wasn't too spacious. It wasn't the worst set up though, It's not like the two weren't friends.
Resources had been low for a bit, with the imminent need to go scavenge for more becoming increasingly real. Naturally, they had eventually gone together, traversing to go loot anywhere they could.

Till swallowed as he walked. He now went alone, with the two having run into a girl along the way. She muttered her name as "Sua" when asked about it, and Mizi insisted on bringing her back to the house. Till couldn't say no to Mizi–yet unfortunately Sua was seemingly too exhausted to move on her own, resulting in Mizi carrying her back. Till wanted to make this journey worth it, he wanted to get materials before anyone else could, so alas, he kept going. As much as he'd hate to admit it, he felt fifty-times more terrified without Mizi with him.
He stumbled upon a grocery store. Trying not to get his hopes up, he entered, finding it to be completely stocked. It was perfect–he could get so much from there.
Positioning his bag, he started pushing in whatever food didn't look as diseased as the zombies. The action was almost ecstatic, until he froze hearing some sort of groan behind him.
He turned to see the familiar figure of a zombie, his excitement quickly turning to panic.
"OH, FUUU-" Till closed his eyes as if accepting his fate, bracing to get bit. Although all he was met with was a guttural noise followed by a thump on the ground.
He slowly opened an eye, seeing the zombie on the ground, unmoving. He blinked at it, his gaze going up to look at the cause.
"Oh... Who are you?" Till questioned, looking at the taller male who now stood in front of him.
The man stared down Till, almost as if sizing him up, before he cracked a smile. "Ivan, you?"
Till narrowed his eyes at Ivan skeptically before giving his name. "Till."
Ivan nodded, his grip on his blade which was used to stab the monster loosening. "Nice to meet you."
Till didn't respond, remaining silent in thought for a brief few moments before speaking. "You have a place to stay?"
The black haired man shook his head, his expression not faltering to show any sorrow. "No."
"You want one?" God, Till felt stupid for asking. He barely even knew the guy, plus, could they even support four heads?
Ivan cocked his head slightly to the side, before his smile widened. "Sure."
"Alright, just- just help me get some food from here first."

Till led Ivan to the abandoned house, letting out a small sigh as he entered the building. They took a brief detour to the second bedroom of the house so he could introduce Ivan to Mizi, and by extension Sua. Afterwards he took Ivan over to the first bedroom.
"Okay, this is my room, I guess you can sleep here too." Till muttered out, taking off his bag which was stuffed with food and tossing it on the ground.
The taller man's eyes roamed around the bedroom, studying his surroundings. The room had one queen sized bed, a desk, and a closet. There wasn't much, but it was better than nothing, he supposed.
Ivan let out a hum before speaking, his tone teasing. "Y'know, this is a pretty well hidden place. I expected worse from someone who had their back turned to a zombie."
Perhaps he was testing his luck with a man he had just met, teasing him and all, but Till looked like just a cute harmless guy to him.
