At Titans Tower, Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven are having the blahs, when they realize that The Night Begins to Shine is the only song that can keep them away from the blahs. After singing a bit of the song to Cyborg, he sings loudly, "The Night Begins to Shine!" which takes them all back to the alternate reality created by the song.

The Titans are seen in very radical vehicles, taking in the surrounds of the Night Shine dimension. While they are talking about the song, an Evil Dragon appears on the Titans and destroys their vehicles. The Evil Dragon demands that Cyborg release the song to him. He refuses and the Titans fight against the dragon.

The Evil Dragon then tears open a portal that returns all the Titans, but Cyborg to their own dimension.

Back home in the tower, the Titans decide that the only way they can return to save Cyborg is to convince celebrated musicians to recreate the song's magic. They try to first ask CeeLo Green for help but are thrown out by his keepers. They then try asking Fall Out Boy. The only member of Fall Out Boy who seems to be interested in "magic songs" is Pete. But the rest of the band decides against helping the Titans.

Meanwhile in the Night Shine dimension, Cyborg tries escaping from the Evil Dragon, riding on the back of a giant wolf. He ends up thrown off the wolf and is devoured by the dragon for refusing to relinquish the song.

At Titans Tower, Beast Boy returns, telling the other members that he found William J. Regan, 20% of The Night Begins to Shine. Then William says that they need the other 80% of B.E.R.

When Raven finds them, the Titans discover that B.E.R can't sing the song because of the prophecy, the titans encourage them to make a new one.

When they are transported back into the alternate dimension by the song Forever Mine, the dragon waits for them and assembles an ambush with alternate cyber warriors.

When B.E.R are imprisoned in a green prison ball, they meet Cyborg, which he thinks since B.E.R is back, they can defeat the dragon. Instead, the dragon creates a giant electrical keyboard stage which he tells the titans and B.E.R that with B.E.R's energy, he can get the song from Cyborg.

When the dragon succeeds and takes over his former lands, he puts the titans on trial, which they were sentenced to righteous termination.

Cyborg, still tired from the blast, tells B.E.R they believe in the power of music, they say yes, which Cyborg summons the song to Fallout Boy and CeeLo Green. Which summons them to the alternate dimension.
