Eunhyeok thought it was a little bit ridiculous. Lately, for the past week, you'd been avoiding any and all interaction with him. The reason? A bad luck streak. You had been unfortunate enough to go through the most unluckiest circumstances ever. Eunhyeok didn't know why you were so insistent on trying to keep him safe by keeping him away.

He didn't want to not be beside you. And no amount of bad luck would change that. Nonetheless, you were persistent. You wouldn't even let him walk you home. So here he was, walking by himself— until he stumbled across you. You were walking to the bus stop a few feet in front of him, and like the hopelessly attracted boyfriend he was, followed you.

Eunhyeok stepped inside the empty bus, it seemed only you and him were the passengers. He saw you peering out the window, too distracted to notice him. He smiled as he went to go sit in the seat behind you. Watching you from this distance would be good enough for now, he thought. The bus ride went by rather peacefully, with you being as oblivious as ever. Eunhyeok was rather amused at the fact you still hadn't noticed him.

A few more minutes in, he noticed you dozing off. Your head was dangerously tilting one way, and he wanted to make sure you didn't fall. But as his hand went to steady your head, you were suddenly aware of his presence. Eunhyeok was about to say something to you until the bus suddenly crashed.

You were now sitting on one of the many vacant seats outside of the hospital's treatment room. Eunhyeok was inside, getting bandaged up, while you were scot-free. He had taken on most of the impact while trying to protect you. And the first thing Eunhyeok saw when he exited the room was you and your teary expression.

"Hey," He said as he crouched down in front of you. "I'm okay." But it appeared that those words didn't completely comfort you. "Seriously." Eunhyeok laughed a little as his hand went up to caress your cheek. "What? Is it hard to see my handsome face hurt?" He joked, another attempt at making you smile.
