You are currently walking down the school's hallways, heading to your next class. It's only been a few days since you got enrolled into Satozakura High School, but one thing you are definitely sure of is: this place sucks. The students are boring and shallow, most of them only care for their social status; and the teachers are no different. It's almost as if they were only coming to this godforsaken school every day just for the heck of it; and you have lost count of how many times you have seen them neglect and brush off complaints students made, most of them regarding bullying issues, which is something you absolutely despised. The way they treated the students they were supposed to protect made your blood boil. But you were soon pulled out of your thoughts as you turned a corner and came across a not so pleasant scene.
One of your classmates, Junpei Yoshino, was being pushed around by a group of students; a sight that you were quite familiar with. You have helped him out a couple of times, walked him to the nurse so he could get his wounds checked; and after doing your part, you expected the school to do theirs too. And as expected, they didn't give a damn. So you, already tired of those bastards and the crappy school system, decided to finally step in and give them a piece of your mind.
The bullies continued to push him around, calling him names while making rude comments. But they were soon interrupted when you suddenly pulled one of them away by the back of his collar, making him yelp in surprise as the rest of the bullies, and Junpei, looked at you, just as surprised as the other one. Junpei, in particular, looked the most surprised out of the group as he looked at you with wide eyes; he hadn't expected anyone to stand up for him after so much time of enduring this horrible treatment.
