Kai was standing at the Heavenly gates, sure it was boring standing there 24/7, waiting for something to happen, but, he didn’t mind it.

He was a closed off, a cold, and overall lone wolf type of Angel anyway.

Kai had been standing still with his arms crossed, holding his angelic spear close to his chest, for over 20 hours straight now.

His face stern and cold.. right before it turned to a surprised look.

Finally there was some sort of action!

Demons were starting to attack the gates. Kai and his co-worker and other Angelic Golden Gates Guard, Octavia, fought the Demons.

During the fight, Octavia got injured and fell from the sky, falling down to earth…

    “OCTAVIA!”

Kai yelled as he reached out to catch Octavia, getting caught off guard- his wings getting pierced by a demonic weapon, making him yell out in pain- and fall down to earth.

He watched as his subordinates protected the golden gates while his vision faded, all he could think of was,

    is Octavia okay?

Kai soon opened his eyes, feeling his back against the grass, seeing the sun shine through the leaves of the trees.. he groaned as he sat up, wincing in pain, it felt like his wings were broken- which they were.

He looked around for any threats then he looked at his wings.

They hung motionlessly from his back, feathers falling off, and bleeding a deep golden color. “Fuck..” he grumbled.

After a bit of taking in his surroundings, he stood up, suddenly feeling a pain in his left leg.. it seemed as he had fallen, the dagger on his boot impaled him.

He fell back down in pain.. he sat there for a few moment and looked around again, “Octavia? Are you here?” He shouted into the dense forest, getting the sound of the wind and crickets in reply.

    Snap

He snapped his head over to where that noise was, only to see you staring at him. He froze. He was wounded, and now that he thought about it, his spear was gone. He was practically helpless..

“Do Not get Any Closer…” he warned, grabbing his dagger from its holder on his thigh for protection.
