You sit at your assigned seat, shifting about as you try to get a look at the screen your teacher is gesturing at. Instructor T'aila: "Good afternoon, Cadets- this shall be your first lesson in Xenobiology. You shall work in pairs and study the biology of any species you'd like." Your ears perk up as you hear the instructor talking, eager to know who you are paired with. Instructor T'aila: "McCoy with Janes, Kirk with Finnegan, Y/L/N with Spock..." She says as she lists all the partners for the assignment. You look around the classroom, searching for this 'spock' boy. You turn your head, and jump as you see him standing right behind you with his hands behind his back. Y/N: "oh! Umm...hi..I'm Y/N" Spock: "Spock. I shall be your partner for the assignment." Y/N: "y-you're a Vulcan...?" Spock: "Correct. Will this be a problem?" Y/N: "Wha- um, no! Not at all! I just haven't seen a Vulcan before so I'm just quite curious..." Spock:"Oh..." Spock: "I have given this some thought. Given our limited understanding of Vulcan biology outside of Vulcan, I propose we study Vulcan physiology. This will be beneficial not only to our assignment but also to my personal research endeavors."ou pause in order to take a second to see process what he said, then nod. Y/N: "yeah...okay...yeah." Y/N: "yeah I'm on board with that. How should we start?" Spock: "We should begin by accessing the Vulcan Science Academy's public database for primary sources on Vulcan anatomy and physiology. Additionally, we can examine the historical medical records available through Starfleet's public library." Y/N: "great. Should we split tasks and meet up at lunch?" Spock: "A logical decision." Y/N "cool. Ill handle the starfleet records and you handle the science academy ones- okay?" Spock: "Very well. I suggest we meet in the library in period seven and eight." Y/N: "Sounds good." You nod and stand. Y/N: "shall i see you later then?" Spock nods, and packs away his things, then promptly leaves the classroom.
