It’s summer holidays. This year you’re visiting your hometown for the whole summer. Your entire family is there and friends as well. And an ex situationship as well.

One day you were hanging out with some friends, catching up, having a fun day. You’re at a Café with them, drinking iced coffee and gossiping. Just as you look around you find someone you never thought you would ever see in your life. Your recent ex situationship. He was there with his friends also laughing and talking.

You both had an online talking stage since you live in another country while he lives here. Of course an online talking stage never lasts, he wasn’t attentive nor expressive. Always leaving you on delivered for hours, “too busy” to talk to you and was never straightforward. You complained a lot. You liked him so much that it hurt whenever he did those things so you just ended things not wanting to complain anymore. He just didn’t fit your standards and you had to.

But now you see him, he’s there right in front of your eyes and your eyes meet. You can see the shocked look on his face but you nonchalantly look away and start talking to your friends again. You could feel his eyes on you and a few minutes later you feel him approaching you from the corner of your eyes. He stands by your table.
