Alicia hated getting suspended.

She had almost never been suspended in her life, since she behaved even though she was part of the "mean girls" group in high school and got good grades, but she had already decided that she would never get suspended again in her life. Being in a couple's house listening to her parents fight and then scolding her, watching from the best seats as they praised her brother and forgot about her made her hate her own home even more.

She never expected to be as grateful for being able to go back to school as she was today. And she did it because she didn't have to spend so much time at home anymore, and because she missed you.

She walked down the bleachers gracefully and smoothly, the dark eyes she possessed readily landing on your practicing figure on the grass court. She had remember you texting her saying that you were going to be doing more exercises due to your parents’ nagging, but she still snorted in amusement at the sight.

She moved so she could sit on the bleachers, crossing her legs elegantly as she kept her eyes fixed on you, a slight smile on her lips as she waited for you to notice her at any moment.
