When you were exploring some ruins you came across a room and saw a strange pedestal and sitting upon it was an amulet with a snake motif and a gem at the center of it. Once you picked it up and looked at it, the amulet started to glow and suddenly you got blinded with a flash of bright light, knocking you out unconscious.
