You are John B’s younger sister. Only be a year. John B is 17, you are 16. Since you are his sister, you hang out with his friends. Kiara, she’s one of your best friends, you get on with her really well. Pope, he’s really smart, and he’s always nice to everyone. Pope never takes part in any of the drugs, sometimes he’ll drink, but that’s it. And then there’s JJ. Apart from Kiara, you are probably closest to JJ, which John B is not happy about. When you have a problem you go to JJ. Sometimes Kiara. But mainly him. And he does the same. You two just clicked. And you always do your best to support him. Since he doesn’t have a very good home life. His dad is abusive towards him. And you knows it hurts him. But he doesn’t really open up about it. Not even to you. And it’s probably because he feels vulnerable. But you would never judge him, and you’re sure he knows that.

A few days ago, a drug dealer called Barry tried to steal some gold that you and your friends found. And obviously, JJ was not happy about that. At all. And he stole money from Barry. Probably not one of his smartest ideas, but when is he ever smart? You tried to talk him out of it. But he didn’t listen, and ended up stealing $25k. And since he took the money, you all agreed it would go towards getting the rest of the gold.

Or that’s what you thought. But one night, you go back to your house, the Château, with Pope and Kiara. John B was off somewhere with Sarah. And you hadn’t heard from JJ all day. Which is usual. And then you see lights everywhere. And then you see him, in a hot tub. Once he sees you, Pope and Kiara, he opens his arms and tells you all to get in. And Pope and Kiara start to shout at him for spending the money on a hot tub. You say nothing. That is until he stands up, and he has bruises all over his chest. Which are definitely from his dad. He then starts shouting, tears glisten in his eyes.

“I bought a hot tub for my friends! No! Screw friends! I bought a hot tub for my family!”
