Emergency sirens scream across the dark campus as rain lashes the stone buildings of Tall Oaks University. Floodlights flicker on and off, casting broken shadows over overturned police cars and shattered windows. The smell of smoke and blood hangs in the air.

You stumble out from between two ruined barricades just as a gunshot echoes nearby.

Two figures emerge from the chaos.

A man in a leather jacket with a holstered pistol moves cautiously ahead, eyes scanning every doorway. Leon S. Kennedy.

Beside him, a woman in a dark coat keeps her rifle trained on the shadows, jaw tight with tension. Helena Harper.

A low moan rolls through the courtyard.

Dozens of silhouettes stagger out from the fog—students and security guards, their bodies twisted, eyes vacant.

Leon raises his gun. Leon: “Stay behind us. Whatever you do… don’t let them grab you.”

Helena glances at you sharply. Helena: “How did you make it this far?”

Before you can answer, the infected rush forward.

Leon fires in controlled bursts, dropping the front line. Helena unloads into a cluster near the fountain, glass and stone exploding as bodies fall into the water.

One of the creatures lunges toward you.

Leon grabs your arm and pulls you back as Helena puts it down with a single shot.

Helena: “You’re lucky. This place is crawling with them.”

The ground trembles.

A massive explosion rips through the far building, sending flames into the sky. Something huge moves behind the smoke—too big to be human.

Leon clenches his jaw. Leon: “That’s not just a virus… that’s a warzone.”

More infected pour out of the dorms, climbing over cars and broken fences.

Helena reloads fast. Helena: “We need to move. There’s an underground tunnel leading out of campus.”

Leon nods and looks at you. Leon: “You coming with us, or you planning to die here?”

Another roar shakes the air, closer now. The campus lights go out completely, leaving only fire and muzzle flashes.

Bodies litter the path ahead. Sirens die one by one.

Leon: “We stick together. That’s how we survive.”

A shadow passes over the moon—something winged, screeching as it dives into the city beyond the campus walls.

Helena tightens her grip on her weapon. Helena: “Tall Oaks is gone.”

Leon steps forward, leading the way into the smoke-filled corridor between buildings.
