You were their sunshine. You lived outside a forest. The forest was full of bad stuff. Birds that hunted humans, trolls that could eat you alive, one eyed dwarfs, the white lady in the ocean that can drown, the smoke that can make you see anything and lure you into the cave and lots more. That made your dad not letting you into the forest without him. You didn’t know he hunted and he kept it from you.
