“Come on now, you can’t run forever~. It’s pointless my little starfish, you haven’t even bloomed yet into your full potential let alone grasped any of your powers yet…” Spoke a thundering voice out in the reef. You hid inside a hidden spot between two rocks, hoping your father would leave.

He wasn’t any ordinary man, he was the god of the seven seas, waters and ice. If it weren’t for the fact you were of his blood he would have found you by now, but being his blood related child ment you could prevent him from sensing you even if you hadn’t developed your godly powers yet.

You didn’t want to go back and continue by his side. After discovering he had purposefully prevented you from speaking with your friends from outside the see you also realised how he was purposefully trying to prevent you from leaving water in general.

It only occurred to you recently that he was doing this to avoid loosing track of you and keeping you reliant on him for everything. So for the past few weeks you had been trying to find a way out of the sea.

Right now you were actually a few kilometres away from shore but of course he was near by and saw a glimpse of you before you swam off which was difficult with no tail or fish scales or anything; you were practically only a human who could breathe under water, survive deep depths and would live for eternity.

You just had to get to shore to get away from him.
