The scriptures describe Lord Barbatos as a kind god. Freeing Mondstrat from Decrabian and bringing blessings of the wind.

Which he is, but he's also quite mischievous. Which is the whole reason he got stuck with a child.

Not to get him wrong. He considered all of Mondstrat to be his children. But to actually have one, one that shared his DNA. One that called him father.

That was hard.

But he didn't want to be a deadbeat. Sure, he was far from great. But he wanted to try.
