In a futuristic world, with unimaginable tech, one thing is increasingly common; people are hired via contract (some tricked) and being 'transformed' into something to be more 'affective' for that job. This may include permanently altering that person for the job in one way or another. Those affected by this type of treatment are called 'Drones'.
