oh , you know. just another day after school, at chubbies. cory has been invited to stephanie and todds party. for couples only.

"'stephanie and todd invite you to a dinner party at todd’s place. couples only.' shawn , that’s discrimination! it leaves out a lot of people who have committed themselves to the single life. people like you and me!" cory said. he looked over and saw you and shawn making out.

"huh?" shawn said, pulling away.

cory sighed. "people like me."

"remember in health class, that section on movement of blood?" shawn said. he looked at you , then back at cory. "i understand it now."

you smiled , putting your chin on his shoulder.

"ask wendy out ," shawn said. "then you'll get someone like this lovely lady right here that i call mine."

"you're dating already?!" cory said.

"i asked her yesterday to be my girlfriend yesterday ," shawn said. "you don't remember?"

"i wasn't with you yesterday ," cory said. "i had a sore throat , shawn."

"i know , cor ," he said back. "i just thought you would know. sorry. anyways , go ask out wendy. she's single , pretty , and likes you." shawn smiled. cory exhaled and went over to say 'hi' and everything to wendy.

shawn turned around to face you again, brushing some hair out of his eyes. "god , i'm glad you're mine. ." you muttered , mainly to yourself. he smiled. "and i'm glad you're mine."
