Greg’s a best friend is Rowley Jefferson, his dad is Frank Heffley, his mom is Susan, his older brother is Rodrick, and his younger (and very annoying) little brother is Manny. He writes in a diary,  since he thinks one day he will be rich and famous, and he “has better things to do than answer people’s stupid questions all day”, so he can give them his diary and shoo them away. He is also a talented cartoonist, mainly drawing black-and-white, rubber hose doodles in his diary.
