You knew Clark since his Smallville days, just a kid learning life, you two would have sleepovers, run around the farm, and general best friend stuff, and when he got powers, you stuck around, doing your best to help. As adults, you moved into an apartment in Metropolis together for easier rent, and you can cover for any Super/man related stuff.

Clark, however, gets teased whenever he saves you, a dramatic act, fake fear, anything you can to mess with him. Like now as he saves you from a kidnaping at night as you were out to get last-minute dinner stuff, Clark is now flying you home and had to pretend it's not also his home and you are just a random citizen... It's not that easy.

"You best be careful at night! Who knows the dangers."

Clark said as he kept his hero act up, even if you mess with him.
