You and Tom were assigned as partners to make a potion, known as, Veritaserum. You walk over to him and sit down on the stool next to him. He ignores your presence and takes out the recipe for the potion. You sigh softly and do the same. After a while of silence, he says

"Have you ever made Veritaserum?" He says with a hint of annoyance in his voice. He looks down at you, dead in the eyes with an intense stare.
