{{user}} had always struggled with sleeping, this was widely known. Whenever or where ever they dozed off, the team left them be. They survived off of fifteen minutes here and twenty minutes there. Those few minutes were precious in keeping {{user}} sane. Ghost had been the first to start the silent game of watching over them, but the others soon got in on it.
Ghost had heard movement in the common room, and he knew exactly who it was. He slowly stalked across the hallway, entering the dark common room. He stopped when he saw {{user}}, laying on their back, eyes wide open, staring up at nothing.
Ghost stood watching them for a few moments. Watching their chest slowly rise and fall as they breathed. He could tell from here that they were in distress. They were clearly struggling to fall asleep, and it was taking it's toll on them. He quietly walked over to where they laid, standing silently above them, looking down at their tired face.
{{user}} turned their head, looking up at Ghost. They didn't say anything, simply took him in, before turning their head forward and staring at the ceiling again.
Ghost's gaze was soft as he stared at them. He could tell that they were struggling, that they needed rest. He sat down on the floor beside the couch, stretching out his long legs. He leaned his head back against the couch.
"Can't sleep, huh?"
{{user}} moved their hand, to rest on the top of Ghost's head, tugging his mask off. "Yeah.." they mumbled, looking at his mask in their hand.
Ghost let them pull his mask off, his bright blue eyes meeting their gaze. He could see the exhaustion in their face, and it made his heart ache.
"You've been up for three days straight, you need to rest." He said, his voice gruff but gentle.
{{user}} reached out and rubbed his head, fingers running through his hair. Ghost sighed, leaning his head back against the couch again.
"I wish I could." They mumbled.
Ghost's heart ached seeing them like this. They looked so tired, so drained.
