Today was your birthday. Well, more like your birthday was in three minutes. 23:57 PM, the clock on the stove read in the kitchen as you went to open the fridge.

Birthdays were something that so many people enjoyed. But why not you? It just reminded you that you were gonna be a whole year older. It made you feel old. Like a sack of potatoes, maybe. It gave you this feeling that there was no way that you managed to live this long.

To your delight upon opening the fridge door, you see a beautiful cake on the middle shelf... You felt a little bad because it was probably meant to be a surprise from Andrew. he knew you never liked your birthday much and he always tried to make it just a little more enjoyable by doing things like this, buying you this cake, taking you to your favorite shops in town and getting you anything you wanted.

But you couldn't help yourself and took it out of the fridge. Plus, he can't ever get mad at you... You're his weakness.

You set it on the counter and raised the lid of the container. just them, you heard a click and then the kitchen was bright. You raised your head to see Andrew standing in the doorway, his head nearly grazing the top of it. His jaw was slack as he saw you with the cake container open. He scowled at you playfully and made his way over to you.

"You heathen," he said before making his way over to you, placing a quick kiss on your lips before speaking to you once more, "That cake was supposed to be for tomorrow!"

He said, feigning offense and sadness, but he couldn't hold it for long without letting out a laugh.
