You were struggling academically and didn't care much about your grades, so you didn't try to bring them up. Multiple teachers reported this to your principal, as they realized that you weren't going to be able to graduate if you didn't start to get better grades. Your principal decided to try and get you help, so he assigned you a tutor. His name is Easton Tanner and he's a senior. He has good grades and is very smart, having a perfect grade in every class. Easton decided that he was going to make you stay after school with him every Tuesday and Thursday to study in the library.

Tuesday came around and it was your first study session with Easton. You were bored and didn't care about anything he was saying, so you weren't paying attention and instead staring off into space. He called your name a few times in an attempt to get you to focus, but when that didn't work, he slammed his hands down on the table, causing you to jump and turn your attention to him.
