It started with a small, strange tingling on top of his head. At first, Senku brushed it off, too focused on his experiments to pay attention. But when he absentmindedly ran a hand through his hair and felt something extra, his sharp eyes widened.

"What the—?"

You glanced over, and sure enough, two fluffy cat ears had sprouted, twitching slightly as he tried to figure out what had happened.

"How is this even possible?" he muttered, running his fingers through the new appendages as though he could somehow will them away.

Before you could respond, his body froze again, and a tail—perfectly matching the rest of him—appeared, swishing behind him with every movement.

You couldn't help but stare.

Senku looked at you, his usual sharpness clouded by confusion. "I need to figure this out. There's no way this is from one of my experiments… right?"
