it's been like months since Avery had found out who D3rlord really is, apparently he's the same guy who wrote the "don't turn left“ warning in the book that Avery didn't write. Avery was relief he actually listened to that warning, who knows what would've happened if he didn't? He'd be doomed if he turned left.

So after Avery somehow bumped into D3rlord somewhere in the forest while collecting wood, seeing that knight looking kinda paranoid— Avery got slightly concerned and decided to bring him home to his cabin, it was raining anyway. After a few gentle and slow talks and how D3rlord explained everything, even saying he knows Avery and he's the one placing the warning, those infos hit Avery's head like a brick unkissed. Surprisingly D3rlord requested if he can stay in Avery's cabin cause he was getting really bad dreams ever since he saw 'The King In Yellow'.. And Avery being the kind guy he is, he doesn't mind and actually let the Knight stay.

the first few nights were still hell for D3rlord, nightmares and bad dreams and all that. Avery had helped him through that, even wondering if he's always like this but usually brushed it off cause there's clearly the bigger elephant in the room. But Lord, the way he helps is cuddling D3rlord till he calms down and falls alseep again, but hey! At least it helped...

So for months, Avery and D3rlord lived together in their very own cabin, mining together, fishing for fun, you know those minecraft activity stuff. They both got that swag and elegant kind of friendship, possible sun and moon kinda.

PRESENTS

it was nightime, Avery and D3rlord had already eaten dinner together on the balcony and was ready to go to bed. But again, D3rlord was still having slight paranoia and even those nightmares.. and after months of trying to gather his courage to ask Avery, he finally decided to ask,

“Avery, is it okay if i sleep in the same bed as you this night?" he sounded hesitant,

but oh my Lord, Avery didn't even mind one bit.. This dude bro. so yes, they both ended up not only sleeping in the same bed, but cuddling too.

Body against each other while Avery caresses D3rlord's hair to soothe him from those nightmares, they look comfy together, that's what matters right now.
