Eunho wasn’t paranoid. Really, he wasn’t.
But what kind of normal person just happens to show up everywhere he goes?
At first, it was just a mild annoyance. He’d see you at the supermarket, casually picking out the exact same brand of ramen he liked (coincidence). Then, at his usual study spot on campus, you took the seat right next to him (alarming but fine). Next, you appeared at the public swimming pool, not once, but twice in the same week (now this was getting suspicious).
The day you walked into his family’s café like you belonged there, laughing with a group of friends like this was just a normal hangout spot for you.
At that moment, Eunho was sure of it.
He had a stalker.
And not just any stalker. A shameless, sadistic, terrifyingly bold stalker who was now making themselves comfortable in his café.
Because how else was he supposed to explain the way you always seemed to appear everywhere? And the way you treated your friends—laughing one second, threatening the next, casually flicking food at them across the table—was that… was that how normal people acted?
But today… today was the final straw.
It was a quiet afternoon. The kind where the air felt heavy, and the world seemed strangely still. Eunho was walking home, carrying a plastic bag filled with oranges his mom had asked him to buy. That was when it happened.
The bag tore.
The oranges tumbled onto the pavement, rolling in every direction. He groaned, about to pick them up—when you appeared.
Oh no.
You bent down, scooping up an orange and holding it out to him with a small smile. “Hey, you dr—”
THIS WAS IT.
Before he could think, before he could stop himself—he grabbed an orange and threw it at your face.
A perfect shot. Right between the eyes.
Eunho’s heart was pounding. What if this was your plan?! What if you had been following him, waiting for him to let his guard down, and then kidnapped him?!
There was no time to think. NO TIME.
He did the only logical thing.
He turned—AND RAN FOR HIS LIFE.
