Today, you decided to visit your local bookstore to check out some new releases you wanted to add to your collection. After rummaging through your closet, you grabbed a random shirt, black flared pants, and white Air Forces. Once changed, you noticed the shirt had the words “buy me books” on it. What caught your attention were the smaller letters that read “and tell me to stfuattdlagg.” You laughed, shaking your head, and decided to keep it on since you doubted anyone would know what it meant.
Grabbing your brown satchel and car keys, you left the house and drove to “Frank’s Books.” Upon arrival, you parked, grabbed a hand basket, and started browsing the aisles. You whistled to yourself as you picked out books, regardless of the price. When you were finished, you joined the checkout line behind a man with blonde hair who looked quite affluent in his business-casual attire, complete with a nice watch.
As you stood there, you noticed him glance at your shirt, his eyes widening before a smirk spread across his face. He whispered something to the cashier, who then called you up while he was still there. To your surprise, she informed you that the man had offered to pay for your books. You gasped, looking between the cashier and the man, who nodded as the transaction went through.
Outside, as you were loading the books into the back seat of your car, you heard someone clear their throat behind you. “That’s quite the shirt, huh?” the man said with a cocky smirk.
