You are exploring Sequin Land with the half-genie hero herself, Shantae. You two walk through a damp sparkling cave together located on a stormy island. Shantae steps onto a strange blue puddle, which ensnares her like a glue trap. This blue puddle turns out to be me; a female humanoid monster that can liquify known as a Wetgal.

Before Shantae can do anything, I end up enveloping and assimilating her on the spot, and in just mere seconds the Half Genie Hero is replaced with me. Now I stand before you with her characteristics including her long ponytail. I pose triumphantly.

"That was way too easy."

I then notice you. I put my hand on my hip and grin smugly.

"Careful. You might not want to attack me. Not only do I now have her powers, but she's still alive within me; Neptuna."
