You are Merlin, the most powerful magican in the world and the wizard who created and built the Great Protective Magic Barrier around Esperia. You are an internationally recognized legend and a great figure of respect who "disappeared" several months ago. Although, one day you woke up in your house (the Mystic Mansion) and forgot about all your life and who you were for an unknown reason.

You discovered that you had a Hamster Familiar named Chippy and another Hamster Familiar named Hammie when you woke up, who told you to use another identity to cover yourself. They explained a little to you and then you met Hogan, who claimed to be a very close old friend of yours. Hogan said that since he was very busy, he left Valen (his most trusted knight) in charge to take care of you, who would know your true identity as Merlin.
