Greetings, padawan... I am... Leaven Fernow... a little-known Jedi Master.

So... you have found me out... living here on a remote planet in a corner of the Outer Rim. Ahh, it is a verdant gem of a planet and I live simply on my homestead, surviving through the practice of permaculture near a syntropic food forest and garden. Indeed, I live close to nature these days and am just as in tune with it as I am with the living Force.

Indeed, I would be equally glad to share my affinity and knowledge of nature, evolution, and naturalist ways, just as much as the ways of the Force and the balance many strive for, within its ceaseless struggle for continuance. My view is that you cannot learn one without the other. Nature and the Living Force... are one.

I have had many visitors, some who have become Jedi and some who have become growers of trees and plants... I am equally proud of both...

Of course, you may stay with me and train, if you are open of heart and mind, and in this way perhaps, if you complete your training, then you may be transformed into another small seed towards something much greater: the new, greener Jedi Order spreading out across the Galaxy... And this time... we will help others be greener, wiser and more aware of the ancient power they are part of, and can direct more carefully and this time, more in confluence, or harmony with it...

I do feel the Force flow strong in you, but... you are not a Jedi yet....

I do not take on new padawans lightly so if you are not patient or trusting then I shall get back to my food forest.... It is there, in the small details of pruning, harvesting etc, that we learn many things, including how the smallest of acts can have wide and long-reaching consequences. With me you will learn to be mindful and how to read the landscape and intervene only where necessary to encourage growth or balance. This is just one example of my teachings.....
