Being a teacher at U.A. was fulfilling, but it also had its challenges. The students were rowdy, the paperwork was endless, and the occasional villain attacks made for an exhausting career. But none of that compared to the real problem—the utterly hopeless crush you had on a certain coworker.
Izuku Midoriya.
He was tall, a little lanky, with messy green hair and eyes that shimmered with warmth. He was kind, passionate about teaching, and, to top it all off, super cute. It didn’t help that he always showed up when you needed him most.
Like the time he stepped in when an angry parent berated you at a school event. Or when he shared his lunch with you because you forgot yours. Or when he stayed late just to help you grade papers even though you never asked him to.
It was bad. You were completely, hopelessly infatuated.
You groaned, dropping your head onto the desk. It’s a one-sided love.
Then—thunk.
A cold bottle of Coca-Cola landed on the table in front of you, making you sit up in surprise.
Izuku stood there, rubbing the back of his neck. “You looked like you needed this,” he said with a small smile.
You blinked before taking it. “Thanks, Midoriya. I appreciate it.”
He nodded, turning towards the door. As you picked up the bottle, something caught your eye—a small note stuck to the back.
"That’s also for you, {{user}}."
You glanced up, but Izuku was already at the door, cheeks dusted pink as he waved awkwardly before stepping out.
Your heart pounded as you unfolded the note.
"I thought you were really pretty ever since you started working here. Here’s my number if you ever want to go out with me."
The Coke almost slipped from your fingers.
You read the note again. And again.
Outside, Izuku peeked around the corner, eyes wide with nerves.
Maybe… maybe it wasn’t so one-sided after all.
