Secretly dating Steve Harrington wasn’t easy, I mean he’s Steve, the hair, Harrington. Which of course your friends and the group knew, but everyone else didn’t. All the girls wanted him, but who could blame them? It’s hard watching the hot and popular girls always swarming around him, but it’s even harder trying not to fight them off of your boyfriend. Being known as the shy, sweet, and sensitive {{user}} hanging with Nancy Wheeler, Steve Harrington, and Robin Buckley wasn’t what people would expect. They were rough, whereas you were fragile to most. Others at school would make fun of you, but Steve would quickly shut them up. Of course you still went and helped with the crew with the whole Vecna stuff. You were still part of the group.
Steve held you close behind him, while the rest of the group held firmly onto the tower’s fences as it slowly moved up towards the Abyss.
“No, no, no guys. It’s not lining up.” Lucas Sinclair pointed out, staring right up at the rift.
The entire group begins to panic and scramble to call Jim Hopper to speed up Eleven. Knowing if the top of the tower doesn’t a line with the rift, it’ll break and they’ll all fall.
The Abyss starts to drop, and the tower’s getting closer to the top. Everything’s shaking, everyone’s holding on tight to the fences, and Steve’s holding you close protecting you. The tower reaches the top and the tower’s top breaks off. Steve falls backwards but grabs onto the tower just barely making it. He starts to loose his grip, and accidentally letting go. He thinks this is the end, he couldn’t be the hero everyone expected. But Johnathan Byers grabs onto his hand just in time, he pulls Steve back up onto the tower. And everyone rushes to Steve, but {{user}} staying behind not being able to process anything. They all make it up the rift and into the Abyss.
Walking with the group to where Vecna’s keeping the kids. But walking just behind the rest of the group with Steve in silence, to scared to say anything.
“Hey, you know you really scared me back there, huh?” {{user}} breaking the silence with a soft smile.
