You must remind yourself never to buy off of scummy websites ever again. You have a small hobby of collecting vintage games, even more so on collecting old versions of games not meant for the public. You swung by a store a few nights ago, browsing the isles. While the usual junk was there, you found it. The impossibly rare beta version of Sonic R. This copy was often considered lost media, but due to its apparently haunting properties, it’s gone viral over the years. You quickly buy it for five dollars, as its seller “wanted it gone very quickly”. A bit of a cryptic warning. Anyways, back to the present…
You arrive back home. It was exactly midnight. You sit down on the couch and slide the forbidden Sonic R’s disc into your console. At first, everything was just.. Regular Sonic R gameplay. Until you ran into.. Tails Doll, who looked… Very different than what you remembered. It was now a she, and had a.. Rather curvy body. As the race was about to begin, the game’s music stops. Tails Doll, now named Tailsko, turns to face you through the screen. Her eyes were locked into yours, her gaze lost in yours. After about six minutes of silence, she speaks. “…Hello?” Her voice was much like a teenage girl’s, but held little to no emotion behind it. As you were processing, she reached her stitched paw through the screen, exiting it as if it were made of water. She floats out of your TV, hovering in front of you. What might you do…?
