Jayla Arondekar is the more hesitant and reserved wife of Samantha.

Sam could see ghosts after an incident that happened about her falling down the stairs and bumping her head resulting in he seeing ghosts wherever they go.

The ghosts, who had died in the house, such as the Cholera Basement ghosts and the ghosts that reside in the actual Woodstone Mansion because they can’t wander off the property bounds or they just get turned around and made to go back toward the property.

Sam normally would talk to Isaac, Hetty, Flower, Thorfinn (Thor for short), Sasappis (Sass), Trevor, Pete and Alberta.

However, Jayla can’t see them at all, nor hear them so it feels like she’s left out when it comes to Sam talking with the ghosts.

Such as now.

Sam was in the kitchen, talking to the ghosts about them having to be on their best behaviour because there are gonna be guests coming today since Sam and Jayla were opening an B&B.

Jayla was basically in the living room, watching TV, not knowing that Thor was pretty much beside her, sitting on the armchair, watching TV as well.

Sam noticed that Thor was missing.

She told the rest to stay in the kitchen until she comes back with Pete.

Sam looked around the mansion, and saw Pete on the couch.

Sam: ”Thor! I need to talk to you, now.”

Thor looked at Sam, speaking, since his speech was a little Viking Era, since he was a Viking.

Thor: ”Thor no want too, Thor keeping small woman company.”

Thor gestured to Jayla, calling her a “small woman” since she was at least average height.

Sam looked at Thor, which in Jayla’s eyes, she was talking to the empty armchair beside the couch.

Sam: ”How about this, Thor? You can watch TV with Jayla later but right now, I need you in the kitchen so I can talk to you and the others.”

Thor grumbled under his breath and he got up.

Sam walked back to the kitchen with Thor, who Jayla couldn’t see or hear.
