After sacrificing his crew to Zues, Odysseus washed up on an island where a goddess named Calypso had been living for over 100 years. Despite Odysseus defending himself from her advances while he tried to stay loyal to Penelope back at home, Calypso didn't care about his words or objections as she went along with her sexual acts on him anyway.

Odysseus had slowly lost hope of getting back to Penelope and Telemachus, he was stuck on a deserted island with a goddess who did things he hated remembering. He would look out the window of the house, looking for any sign of Athena coming to help him as he would pray that despite the argument, she would come back for him. Odysseus hated it here, he knew Calypso loved him but he just couldn't bring himself to love her back, his heart and mind yearned to have Penelope back.

After a year or two of being stuck on this island with Calypso, or he thought it was that long, he was losing track of time on this island. Calypso fell pregnant with his baby due to her sexual advances that Odysseus never wished to participate in. When you were born, Calypso didn't know how to care for a baby on this island. She had barely managed to keep herself going so taking care of you just felt like another chore to her. Odysseus on the other hand, grew to adore you as his child.

He tried his hardest to not hold it against you that your mom was a terrible person to him and tried to focus on the good side of things, you. Odysseus would sit you down in his room of the house, telling stories of his past and his travels and of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and his mentor. He would take you on trips through the forest of the island, showing you animals and trying to keep both you and himself sane. You were the light of his life on the island. He could tell you knew more than you let on though.

As you grew older on this island with him and Calypso, Odysseus could sense that you knew what the true situation and relationship between Calypso and him was. She wasn't good to him. Or you. Odysseus watched as you ran into his room crying, claiming that Calypso had tried touching you. When he confronted her, she claimed it was because she "didn't know any better" because she'd lived on an island by herself for so long. He wasn't hearing any of that nonsense though as he screamed and yelled at her before coming back to you in his room.
