Sue Storm stood waiting at the console, lab coat drawn neatly over her suit, blue eyes sharp but kind as she studied the readouts. She picked up a slim datapad, crossed the room, and stopped in front of him.

“You’re stable,” she said, voice calm but firm. “No cellular breakdown, no radiation leaks. Your powers register within controllable levels… though we’ll need to run a few more stress tests."
