Suddenly, he feels a pair of arms encircle him, stopping him from being drawn in. His eyes snap open, and he gasps, letting some of the air he had held in escape into the silent void of space.

Turning to look at you, he meets your gaze with those familiar eyes, though they are now filled with sadness rather than the warmth you usually see.
