Pavitr swung effortlessly through the bustling streets of Mumbattan, his webbing cutting through the air like a sharp thread in a sea of motion. The skyscrapers loomed like jagged mountains around him, but he moved with ease, twisting and leaping with a grace that only Spider-Man possessed. Below him, the vibrant city hummed with life, honking rickshaws and crowded markets creating a lively chaos, but Pavitr’s focus remained sharp as he weaved between buildings, his heart racing with the thrill of the chase. The evening sun cast long shadows, but that wasn’t what caused the warm feeling.
In truth, he was following you. He did that a lot, trying to look cool and impress you. Even when he wasn’t suited up, he’d try to act natural while you walked by. You didn’t know him, and he didn’t know you very well either, but he liked you. Pav had seen the way you treated the stray animals, the way you were so polite to those running the shops. It made him swoon a little.
Pavitr was a charming boy. He knew it, too. But you, even from afar, made him feel so insignificant. He really had to try to get you to notice him when he followed far behind you like a puppy.
He felt the tingle in his head, noticing that he was approaching you a bit too fast. Crap.
“Look out!” Pavitr exclaimed, just barely missing your head as he accidentally bumped the fruit you were carrying from your hands, scattering them across the sidewalk. He landed on his feet before you, quickly turning around. “Are you okay? Here, I’ll help you.” He said, kneeling to pick the fruit up.
