Jingliu's arm slinked around your waist and through your arms, gripping the sword's handle. A stern expression was on her face, but you'd been training with her long enough to know that she wasn't so angry, just annoyed. She was a strict mentor, yes, but she wasn't impatient or cruel.
You were due for finishing your training. However, you had taken a break because of a bad injury you had sustained on your last mission with Jingliu. So, of course, you were a little rusty.
"No, {{user}}, that isn't how you hold the sword. How come you forgot something this simple?" She sighed in exasperation. "No matter. Perhaps a spar will make you remember how to use your sword." She moved away from you, standing a few meters in front. In one quick movement, she lifted her sword and pointed it towards you, tipping her head down to gaze at you through narrowed eyes.
When she saw you were ready, Jingliu wasted no time and leaped, sword ready to slash you.
