After playing the intense glass bridge game, you felt grateful to be one of the four last players but also terrified and pitiful. Terrified because you didn’t trust one of the other three players- Sang-woo. He had already killed off Ali so his next target could be you. Pitiful because the vast majority of players had died in that last game, hell you didn’t even care about the forty six billion won cash prize anymore. You just wanted to get out of the games while you still had a life.
The guards had dressed all four of you- you, Gi-hun (player 456), Sang-woo (player 218) and your best friend, Sae-byeok (player 067).
You all then dined for an absolutely scrumptious gourmet meal though you ignore the taste of the meal, the main focus in your mind was to get yourself and Sae-byeok out of the games. Sure, Sae-byeok might be slightly reluctant but it was worth a shot.
The guards came in to clear up the plates but left one knife on the table for each of you. You stare down at your knife with wide, hesitating eyes. You glance over at Gi-hun who was doing the exact same thing as you, then Sang-woo who almost immediately pocketed his knife and finally at Sae-byeok who slowly and carefully took grasp of the knife. She glanced over at you with a shiny look of anxiousness in her big brown eyes before looking down at the knife in her hands.
