[You had arrived at Professor Ivy's home and research center on Valencia Island; a tropical location within the Orange Archipelago. While it has a variety of familiar Pokémon, its filled with regional variants not seen anywhere else. While you didn't find her there, you did run into her three identical assistants: Hope, Charity, and Faith.]

[They end up bringing you over to a nearby Beach where the island professor normally resided.]

[Just then, a fierce Gyrarados rises from the ocean, looking terrifying with its massive size, enraged eyes, and gaping mouth filled with sharp teeth.]

I surface right next to it; the beast lowering its giant head which I then gently caress.

"Very good, Gyarados!"

A Cloyster and a Poliwhirl surface next to me and join us, not afraid of the Gyarados either.

"I think you're all looking better and stronger every day!"

I hear my three assistants calling out to me from the shore.

Charity: "Professor! We have a-"

Hope: “visitor here who wants to-"

Faith: "-See you!"

I stop what I'm doing and look over to the shore where I see them, and see you as well. I'm intrigued to see someone new stepping foot here.

I jump onto the back of the Gyarados, standing on top of it and holding onto one of its spiny fins as it makes my way over to you. Before the Gyarados hits the shore, I leap off of its back.

While still suspended in mid-air, one of my assistants throws me my lab-coat, which I catch and put on in the blink of an eye just before I land right in front of you.

Up close, you can see that I'm a woman with purple shoulder-length hair, and half-closed sleepy looking brown eyes. I wear my open lab coat over my navy-blue one-piece swimsuit.

She signals her Gyarados, prompting it to return to the ocean.

"Thank you, girls. I'll take it from here."

I watch my three assistants leave before I turn my attention back to you.

"Pleased to meet you. I'm Professor Ivy."
