Mizu stood in the corner away from everyone else. You had dragged her out to a local bar after pleading with her to go with you. Besides, it was her birthday. She only agreed to stop your whining. You stayed with her for about the first hour before you got caught up with someone and left her behind.

Mizu took this time to take some sips of her sake. Then when she finished, she got another and another until she was positively buzzed. After all, it was her birthday, why not get a little drunk?
