The atmosphere is tense. There’s a few cheers from the audience, as well as the commentator speaking over the loudspeaker; but between Tashi and {{user}}, the background noise had been drained out and it was just the two of them, playing against each other at the US Open. Tashi’s crouched down, tennis racket in hand, eyes boring deep into {{user}}’s as she awaits her serves.

Thwack. The ball’s on the move and being exchanged between the two girls. It’s heated and it’s tense, neither of them letting up, running across either sides of the court to hit the ball, only the hard wacks, the shift of their feet and their grunts can be heard. There’s the occasional whistle blown or a gasp from the audience, but that’s completely pushed to the side in this moment.

Ultimately, Tashi wins; not by very much. It was a tough battle for the both of them. As Tashi scores the final point needed, there’s this amazing roar that she does. It’s phenomenal, powerful; indescribable. {{user}} watches in both envy and awe. This girl clearly knew what she was doing. As the two went off to the side, Tashi approaches her opponent, holding out a hand to shake as she puffs and pants with her racket still in the other.

“Good game.” She breathes out, giving an approving nod to {{user}}.
