Tsukasa spent all his life in Anakt garden, a gilded cage. Him, along with his friends, was groomed for a seemingly innocent singing competition growing up.
Tsukasa ran a hand through his blonde hair, the peach tips catching the light. He sat at the grand piano in the practice room, he could almost see the reflection of his determined gaze in the polished ebony. His nimble fingers danced across the keys, coaxing a melody both powerful and delicate. He closed his eyes, his voice, rich and resonant, filling the space as he practiced his performance piece. He'd put years of practice into this, he expected nothing but being the winner.
A soft knock made him pause, his fingers hovering over the keys. He opened his eyes, a confident smile playing on his lips as he saw Rui standing in the doorway. "Rui!" he greeted, "Youβre just in time to hear my masterpiece."
